About Kelly
I work with individuals, children, families and couples. My areas of specialization include trauma, depression, anxiety, family conflict, social skills, and self-esteem building. My work is driven by the belief that all people deserve a safe, supportive, and empathetic environment to address life’s challenges.
It is my goal to build a collaborative working relationship with clients where the foundation of our time together is built on the inherent strengths of each individual and family. It is important to me that all clients get to feel heard and supported throughout the therapeutic process.
I am committed to helping clients problem-solve, develop self-awareness, and make positive changes in their lives. My treatment approach is tailored to fit the specific needs of each individual and family through the use of Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Trauma-focused techniques.
My previous experience entails working with children, adolescents, and young adults in various settings including alternative schools, a residential treatment center and a detention center. I have also provided individual and family therapy to children, adolescents and adults at an Outpatient Mental Health Clinic. I am a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP) and have a certification from the Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE).
When I am not working, I enjoy traveling, exercise, yoga, exploring new restaurants, and spending time with friends and family.
