About Ilene

I am passionate about supporting each client to live a life worth living and believe in a warm, collaborative, solution-focused, and strength-based approach. My goal is to help clients balance acceptance and change by building skills in the areas of mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotional regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness.

The modalities I use include Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, (DBT), Narrative Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Strategic Family Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing. I have over 18 years of experience in strategic consulting, program management, finance, and business development. More recently, I worked in non-profit settings empowering adolescents and women. For the past three and a half years, I have primarily worked with adolescents, young adults, and families supporting their mental health and relationship challenges in an intensive outpatient setting.

I am the mother of two teens and spend my non-working time with family and friends and enjoying cooking, reading, and traveling near and far.
