I am passionate about working with individuals and families to help them learn the skills to navigate various difficulties in life. My goal is for each client to feel safe and comfortable to be open and work on their treatment goals. Meeting each client where they are at and taking the time to build a therapeutic connection are both essential to successful therapy.
I have extensive experience using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) in my work, and I often incorporate other treatment modalities into my therapy, such as: Mindfulness, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Structural Family Therapy. I believe that therapy is not cookie-cutter, and I find it important to be flexible in finding the best approach to meet the needs of each client and family.
Outside of work, I love traveling, exploring new places, making jewelry, and hanging out with friends and family, and my dog.
