About Emma

We all have stories that have been told to us and I believe it is up to us to either continue or alter the narrative to achieve the stories we want to lead. You are the expert on your life. My desire is to collaborate with you to help achieve such goals.

Because no two stories are the same, I utilize a variety of techniques and approaches to cultivate an environment that allows you (or your child) to show up as your authentic self. I work from a narrative theory perspective with foundations in psychoanalysis, cognitive behavior therapy (CBT) and gestalt therapy. At times, I may use eclectic interventions to help you achieve your goals. This may include but is not limited to art therapy, play therapy or exercise. I am committed to working with you to develop the best approach to address your needs.

When I am not working, I enjoy reading and writing as well as exploring the world through nature, food, and the arts with friends and family.
